Most Vinyl flooring has excellent anti slip ratings dependent on your requirements, this is a surface technology that gives you a slip resistant finish for wet areas.

Vinyl flooring is made up of three layers: The top layer is the waterproof and slip resistant layer, this is designed to be hygienic and easy to clean, the middle layer holds the design and the bottom layer is the polyester backing designed to give you a quiet, warm and comfortable product.

All subfloors must be smooth, level, clean and free of any contaminants including wood preservatives so the subfloor where the vinyl is going may require screed or plywood. Remember to ask your fitter or the store about floor preparation. Quotations can be given for any of these services, which our fitters are fully qualified to carry out.

Most vinyl manufactures produce their designs in multiple widths, from two to five metres, making any choice an economic one.
